Q. What are Sizzlers?

Sizzlers are copies of the most popular physical items available for checkout with your library card.

Sizzler copies are ready for you to check out immediately when you find them at a library location. These items include new, popular books and DVDs.

Since these items are so in-demand, they have special checkout limits and cannot be renewed. Sizzlers also have shorter loan periods than regular materials:

• Book Sizzlers: Checkout for 14-days
• DVD Sizzlers: Checkout for 7-days

Patrons may check out one book Sizzler and one AV Sizzler at a time.

Patrons with an overdue Sizzler of either kind cannot check out anything else until it’s returned.
