We're sorry! Unfortunately, not everyone is very nice to our DVDs, and yes, they can become quite scratched.
If you check out a DVD that is so scratched it can't be played, please let us know when you return it.
Bring it to any branch to be returned, and let staff know the problem -- we have an industrial strength resurfacer that can repair almost all damage (and if it can't, the item can usually be reordered). When you return the item, staff can put the item back on hold for you, so you can get another copy to watch.
We'll appreciate you pointing this out -- if no one tells us the DVD is scratched, it can't be fixed! So, thank you!
