The Environmental Protection Department provides County residents a convenient, environmentally friendly and free of charge service for the disposal and recycling of household hazardous wastes including:
- Household chemicals;
- Automotive fluids and batteries;
- Paints;
- Pesticides and corrosive chemicals;
- Solvents;
- Old medicines/pharmaceuticals;
- Electronic scrap including TVs, monitors, computers;
- Fluorescent and other mercury containing bulbs;
- Many other hazardous wastes and special services
