Q. What magazines and newspapers are available at the library?

Due to the constant change in print journalism, the library does not maintain a list of print periodicals online. However, most branches maintain a printed list of available newspapers and magazines at their location. A search in the online catalog for a specific title will show a periodical's availability.

Available eMagazines can be accessed through Overdrive or Flipster. The Gainesville Sun and New York Times are also available digitally with your library card. Other newspapers can be found by search the America's News database.

The library subscribes to the database MasterFILE Premier, which carries current popular and academic publications, including Consumer Reports. More information on accessing Consumer Reports through MasterFILE Premier can be found on our Research page.
