To register for a Standard Library Card, or to renew your library account, you must present a current, valid photo ID. The Library cannot accept pictures or copies of an ID. If the ID does not list your current address, then you must provide proof of address. Only residents of the state of Florida may register for a Standard Card. Residency in Florida can be verified with:

  • Voter's Registration Card
  • Rent or utility receipt
  • Personal checkbook with imprinted name and address
  • Property tax notice
  • Name and address on mail with canceled postage, including forwarded mail
  • Telephone listing in current telephone directory
