The Activation Date of your hold determines whether or not the hold on an item is Active or Inactive. When you suspend a hold to activate on a later date, the hold remains inactive until that date. To change the Activation Date, you will need to log in to My Account on the Library's website. To log in, you will need your 14-digit library card number and PIN/password. Your PIN/password is automatically set to be the four-digit year you were born (ex. 1975).

Once you have logged in, select your Hold Requests and locate the item you wish to change the activation date for. Click the checkbox next to that item and select Suspend/Reactivate Selected. Enter the new Activation Date for the hold and click Submit.
