The default PIN/password varies by card type.

The default PIN/password for

  • Standard Cards beginning with 22054 is the four-digit year of birth (e.g. 1999)
  • Student Cards beginning with 52054 is the month and day of birth (e.g. March 7 is 0307)
  • Digital Cards beginning with 72054 is the last four digits of the registration phone number (e.g. 352-123-4567 is 4567)

To change your PIN/password,

  • Log in to your account.
  • The My Account screen will display. Click on the Change Logon drop-down menu.
  • You can change both your username and PIN/password from this screen.

If you've changed your PIN/password and can't remember what you've changed it to, the Forgot your password? link on the Log On screen of the catalog can help you regain access to your account if you have an email address on file in the system.

If you are unable to reset your PIN/password, contact the Circulation Department by phone at 352-334-3950 and staff will reset your PIN/password.

  1. Hello, the link on "My Account" says "PIN and Passwords." When I clicked on that link it takes me to this page. It took a couple of minutes to figure out that PIN and Password were synonymous on this page. It could be more clear by just mentioning "PIN" somewhere on the page or eliminate it completely. Generally, PINs are four-digit numbers and passwords are strings of alphanumeric and/or special characters. Thank you!
