The Alachua County Library Headquarters has the 1885 Florida State Census on microfilm. It is in the orange cabinet with the other census microfilm.
This is a special state census, not federal. It is especially important because the 1890 federal census was lost in a fire. Alachua County is missing from the 1885 Florida State Census, but the rest of the counties in Florida then seem to be there.
