Transparent Language is the library's database for learning a foreign language. First time users will need to "Sign Up" for an account. Users are required to create a unique username and password. Once you have signed up, log in to your account and select the language you would like to learn.

Transparent Language offers 100+ languages and also offers English for 25+ native languages. Courses teach learners how to read, write, speak, and listen to the language they choose. A microphone is required for lessons where the learner is speaking. Transparent Language keeps a record of vocabulary that has been learned and also reminds you to practice any coursework you might need a refresher on. Want to test your knowledge of a language before you get started? Proficiency tests are also available under "Resources."

Mobile access to Transparent Language is available by entering your username and password on the app. Apps are available on the App Store, Google Play, and amazon appstore.
