Yes, Standard Library Cards are free to any Florida resident. The Library does not offer out-of-state library cards.

To register, residents 18 years of age and older must present photo identification and proof of residency in-person at any library location. Minors (ages 4-17) must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian as the Responsible Party. 

Please note: some digital materials, such as Libby, are limited to residents of Alachua, Putnam, and Levy county residents.
