Q. Is it possible to donate eBooks I have purchased to the library?

While we appreciate your generosity, unfortunately, it is not possible for the Library to accept donated eBooks in any format.  While there are a number of factors that prohibit eBook donations, the most critical is licensing.

Library licensing agreements are quite different from individual licenses, and cannot simply be transferred or donated.  Making the issue even more complicated is the fact that libraries face restrictions from many publishers that do not apply to individuals, meaning some titles are not eligible to become library eBooks.
