You can view your holds and their statuses in the catalog by logging into your account and then clicking the "Hold Requests" link on the left hand side of the page.
Held means the item is available for you to pick up, and is being held for you at the branch you've selected. When an item is Held, you will also see next to it how many more days the item will be held for you. Example: "Status = Held (for 6 more days)."
Pending request means there is an item on the shelf at a library branch that satisfies your request. The hold is not yet available (an available hold would have the status of Held) but it should be available soon!
Shipped means the item has been sent from another branch and is on its way for you... it will probably be available for you in the next day or two. (Once it gets to your branch, the status will change to Held and you can come pick it up).
Active means you've placed your hold, and you're in line for the item.
Inactive means you've place a hold on the item, but have suspended the hold for a date in the future. Therefore, the system is not searching for item for you at this time.
Available Soon means that the item still is being processed.
