Your username in the online catalog is chosen by you! It's an alternative to remembering your whole library barcode in order to log into the library catalog, or view information about your account.
This username will not work with OverDrive or other databases, however. It's strictly for use with the online catalog.
Library staff will not have access to your username. If you forget it, or cannot get access with the catalog, you will need to log into your account with your library card number and PIN, and reset your username.
