Library cards expire every two years. You can renew your library card at any branch or bookmobile stop by bringing in photo ID and proof of Florida residency.
The message you saw means that items you recently checked out had their loan periods shortened. Since the regular due date (which for books is four weeks) occurs AFTER your card expires, the computer assigned the due date of these items to be the date of your card's expiration.
