Your operating system (OS) will determine how to proceed with opening an .acsm file on your computer. OverDrive has instructions on how to associate the .acsm file with Adobe Digital Editions on Windows or Mac.
On a mobile device, the file should open automatically in the Libby app. If it does not automatically open, the easiest solution is to uninstall and reinstall the Libby app on your device. You can also follow these instructions on what to do if your loan won't open.
