Q. What years are included in the index for the Gainesville Sun?

The Library has both a card catalog index and a digital index for the Gainesville Sun, which is available on microfilm at the Headquarters Library. The card catalog index covers the years 1900-1986, while the digital index covers the years 1987-2007. The Library offers our cardholders access to digital copies of the Gainesville Sun, both in full-color images or text-only records, covering the years 1911 to present. Access is available at any library location or remotely with your 14-digit library card number.
