The John A.H. Murphree Law Library is now open to the public, housed at the Alachua County Library's Headquarters location.

The transition of the John A.H. Murphree Law Library collection is a collaboration between the John A.H. Murphree Law Library Board of Trustees and the Alachua County Library District. This collection of valuable resources includes more than 2,000 volumes plus Westlaw.

The online eSource Westlaw provides the full spectrum of legal resources offering federal and state cases and statutes, more than 600 law reviews and journals, property and real estate laws,  Florida family law, and more than 50 legal forms.  This database, offered only at the Headquarters Library, is keyword searchable and identifies the most relevant on-point materials quickly and efficiently.
