The library is a Safe Place. Safe Place is a program that provides young people a place to go when they need help fast. The mission of Safe Place is to provide a network of assistance for young people who are runaways, homeless, or in crisis.

This services is for children usually 9 years old and up (to 17). Younger children may be abandoned and we will have to call police and DCF

To contact CDS Family and Behavioral Health Services, call 352-244-0628, they are open 24 hours. They will transport youths to the Interface Youth Shelter. If someone needs assistance out of county, call 888-290-7233.
