Once a hold request changes to Held status and is available for checkout, the library cardholder will have seven (7) days to checkout the item. An unclaimed hold request, one that does not get picked up within those seven days, will be checked in by library staff. Upon check-in, the item will either be sent to the next individual waiting in the holds queue or it will be shelved at the location where it was checked in. If you are unable to pick-up your hold request before it becomes unclaimed, you may place the item back on hold to rejoin the holds queue.

Cardholders can Suspend/Reactivate hold requests if they do not wish to receive an item until a specific date. If you need assistance with your hold requests, contact the Circulation Department by phone at 352-334-3950.
